Secret Side of Sundance (Year 1); Sundance to the Silver Screen Media Fam (Year 3)
The Challenge:
Grow awareness of Utah’s lesser-known locations through media storytelling and editorial through key media outlets. Utah is home to the Sundance Film Festival as well as laying claim to more than 900 blockbuster movies and tv shows being filmed on location here. Taking media to lesser-known regions of Utah while threading through the theme of movies was a great story angle and one that would resonate with readers in Australia and New Zealand.
The Results:
6 Australian and New Zealand media, 10 regional DMOs visited, 27 stories written, over $650,000 in earned media value, over 40 million in circulation.
